Joshua, Lilly and Enrique designed a learning device for Luti, a kindergartner who is blind and non-verbal. Upon meeting Luti, the team noticed she greeted people by feeling their lanyards. The team took this observation on board and developed a series of sensory shape identifiers that attach to the lanyards of people Luti interacts with on a daily basis. By combining the 3D printed shapes with a learning board, Luti is able to identify who she is interacting with by touching their tactile lanyards.
