These are productions that I have produced and, or, directed.
A mixed bag of stuff. Mostly shot in hi-definition, but with a couple of those finished in standard def for reasons that made sense at the time. And now blown back up to hi-def!
The samples are from:
"Baxter; The 3 Ps" Host: Ali Aditia, DP: John Choi. Shot in high-definition. Motion Graphics by me.
The Button Guy Videos! Over 20 How-to videos produced for The Button Guy thebuttonguy.net/ Shot using a Canon 7D
Video Tutorials for Engineers360. A mix of field shooting, studio presentation, and motion graphics. The motion graphics were used as a way of avoiding a series of talking heads. Some high defintion shooting and standard definition - but all finished on standard definition.
Iroha, The Nagata Shachu. This was a three camera shoot, and shot using Panasonic DVX100 camcorders. And it looks good even blown up to 720 lines.
Certainty, HyGrade Roofing. Shot on standard definition, still looks not bad blown up to 720 lines. However, there is a bit of artifacting, a result of the post-process.
Baxter: Freedom. DP:John Choi. Featuring: I wish I could find the call sheet! But everybody was excellent. And it was an amazingly smooth shoot. Although we had to go back and shoot those darned balloons again. shot in high-definition, then finished in standard def (client needed that format, but I don't know why we never got a hi-def output!).
