The 2009 Unit Ministry Teams for the KFOR 12 mission at Camp Atterbury, Ind., were taught Unit Ministry Team Survivability skills which allowed the teams to approach Religious Leader Liaisons with confidence. Each UMT member is responsible to conduct security for the team while performing religious support during operations in Kosovo. As demonstrated in this video, the Unit Ministry Teams are placed in situational training exercises to establish a working religious relationship with the local personnel when they are attacked by civilians on the battlefield (situational role players).
