This is the view of the 2/20/08 Lunar Eclipse as seen from Mauna Kea on the Big Island of Hawaii.
We missed most of the eclipse because of how far west Hawaii is. What we did get to see rose at sunset, within the shadow of Mauna Kea, which was a truly beautiful sight. I hope I share a bit of that with you in this time lapse.
