A group of kids from Southern Alps Ski club ranging from the ages of 8-16 years spent a week shredding the Australian alps at Perisher, Charlottes and Thredbo. These guys were getting back to the roots of Australian skiing After reading an article on the litigious nature of skiing in Australia, the group were pumped to go shred some side country in Perisher and do what skiing is all about, having fun, in the gum trees with your best mates. They caught the t-bar up Eyre and then headed straight right and found some of the best snow Australia has to offer, untracked and dry as a bone, perfect even after 4 days without snow. The group found themselves there 3 days out of the 7 they were there, they set up a bit of a camp and found a great rock to jib off. Armed with a super 8 film camera, they were doing it just like their ancestors, skiing down and hiking back to the lifts. The run they were hitting the whole time didn't have a name, so they named it, due to its ghetto, awesome like abilities, DAT RUN...
