I travelled to Intervale New Hampshire and found an interesting story about small scale maple syrup production.
I bought the new Sony PMW-F55 camera and I wanted to test it out on a short project. I used the Abel Cine HDx35 mkII PL to b4 lens adapter to mount a Fujinon HDTV zoom lens to the camera. I shot mostly off the shoulder "news ENG style".
This was shot using the XAVC 1920x1080 24p codec on standard SxS cards. I did not grade this footage at all, this is what SLOG2 looks like straight off the sensor.
Chris Uggerholt has been tapping trees and boiling down the sugary sap for a few years. Every spring he looks forward to the 1.5 month window when the sap runs in the North country.
