Dobro Vača my friends Dobra Vača.
My name is Christopher Rudder founder of The Golden Compass and videographer, photographer editor for Uncharted as well as one of its hosts.
It's really amazing to not only be here...but to be the one to kick off such an amazing festival is a real honour.
So thank you Emilija and the rest of the LoveFest team for not only having me but for putting together such an important event that gives film makers an opportunity to showcase there work.
About me and The Golden Compass. TGC is a mixture of a few things I'm passionate about.
Photography. Videography, Editing Music and Travel. TGC is a mixture of those things and its mission is to find the beauty in all cities around the world and share that beauty with the rest of the world.
Ok, The Golden Compass and Serbia.
Serbia has a bad reputation in the eyes of the Western World.
I think Serbia likes The Golden Compass because as I said before the mission of TGC is to find the beauty in every city I visit.
The beauty here in Serbia is in its people. Amazing people. All you people
The beauty here in Serbia is in the food, wine, drinks and of course rakija.
Serbia has beauty in its architecture, nature and its rich history.
No city is perfect and every city has its issues, politics and problems...but keep that in the back of your mind and focus on the beauty.
I've been here five times already and I will keep coming back.
The short documentary we are gonna watch is a three part Series called "Where The Danube Kisses The Sava"
You can watch other videos and this years videos coming this September at thegoldencompass.ca
Thank you to The Golden Compass team, I couldn't do it with out you guys.
Thank you to LoveFest, my Serbian friends and all of you for having me and making me feel at home.
So, to Serbia, živeli and stay beautiful. Enjoy the rest of the festival.
