The Effigy, is a short film DVS Orlando put together for the 48 Hour Film Project.
Filmmaking teams from throughout the Bay area successfully completed a weekend of filmmaking. Films were due on Sunday, July 28 and the last few minutes before the deadline saw filmmakers, operating on little sleep and lots of adrenaline, rushing to get their films in on time. Teams have 48 hrs to create a short film. Genres are assigned randomly (ours was "Mistaken Identity"). This year every team had to include the following in their film: bubble wrap, a character by the name of Charlie Sparks and he must be a "farmer" and lastly this specific line of dialogue "he never tells me anything."
