Deaf and Hearing Ensemble: Forest Fringe company in residence
19 – 23 August
Something exciting is just beginning. We are a new ensemble of deaf and hearing theatre makers and performers. Many of us haven’t met yet.
We are coming together to meet each other and tell each other stories, the ones we share and the ones we don’t. There will be actors, directors, theatre makers, writers and artists, working together in a room. We'll be making new work in response to contemporary writing. We'll be exploring questions about performance. We'd love for you to join us.
Our week-long residency at Forest Fringe will include an appearance at Northern Stage St Stephens within the Great Bloody Border Ballad Project and a public sharing of our work at Forest Fringe on Friday 23rd. We will also be supporting Forest Fringe in providing a day of BSL interpreted contemporary performance on Friday 23rd.
