This is a video that I Produced and Edited in conjunction with Attack Theatre, an awesome dance company located in Pittsburgh, PA (attacktheatre.com)
The story of this project is that Attack Theatre did a series of dance performances during September 2012 at various public art displays in and around Pittsburgh, I helped coordinate the live taping and broadcast of these performances via a mobile truck and switcher. To enhance the audience experience for this project each of the 14 filmed performances included live audience participation in the form of Q&A with the dance company before during and after the event and an American Sign Language interpreter.
I then filmed a series of interviews with the company dancers during the winter of 2012 and the spring of 2013 and incorporated in their reflections and thoughts about the experience of putting this show together. I then edited these interviews in with live performance footage and photos of the performances to come to this final piece.
Excuse the lower quality of some of the performance footage, most of it was filmed SD via a live switcher feed which I then upscaled to match the framing of the interview footage that I filmed afterwards.
