An Impressionist video made under Res Novae. This was shot over just a 8 hour period in my friends basement for a college assignment.
This video is basically an anti-smoking campaign disguised in a music video made by a student. I believe it’s a different approach to an anti-smoking campaign video displaying the duality and juxtaposition of a lonely and depressed person using cigarettes to fill that void whereas the other side deals with that with companionship and energetic partying.
The song I used for it is by new and upcoming artist Travis Scotts ''Hell of a night'', the song is the standout track from his recent mixtape Owl Pharaoh with the beat beginning with a beautiful sped up sample by the Fleet Foxes.
Special thanks to Gavin and John. This project could not have been done without their support.
