During the conceptual process of Model to Monument (M2M), I investigated public sculptures on display through out New York City. I decided to interview your average New Yorker as they discovered various public works of Art.
On this interview I met Tommy in front of Nikki Saint Phalle's sculpture in the meridian of Park Ave and 60th Street. His analysis of this sculpture in this location brings into question the effect of traffic and environmental sound.
These Interviews proved to be invaluable leading up to the Conceptual phases in the development of my public sculpture 'Transitions through Triathlon'.
