Tooheys New "Border Toad"

The State of Origin rugby league series is a huge event in Australia. The Queensland team are known as "Cane Toads" due to the pests that inhabit their plantations. Annoyingly, the pests have migrated south to NSW. Tooheys New was the beer of the NSW team so our brief was to take a swipe at the Queenslanders and "put them back in their box". Our idea was to have a group of mates travel to the border and despatch cane toads back to where they came from using a popular (but frowned upon) method. This TV spot received more than 200 complaints and is still on the Top 10 Most Complained About TVCs in Australian history.
