Wolfe Asylum, out-door installation produced for Bottna Land Art in -08. At the entry to "Klyftan" (The Gap), a long, high, wild gap/cut into the mountain. The five days of installation-work started with adapting to location and the decision to use material found at sight - broken branches, weed, stones etc., alongside used-up white sheets and string. The name of the piece was obvious - It is and was necessary with attention to and shelter for predator-animals. Notice that the aim for Swedish Wolf-license-hunt, starting out -10, was a government-topic in -08. With the words Wolfe Asylum, I wish there is still hope for also the wild carnivores (meat-eaters) in Scandinavia, even thou many of them is recklessly persecuted, if not killed already... Wolfe Asylum is dedicated to my much loved friend Kjell Hansson (1933-2010), despite knowing he was modestly afraid of Wolfs, he had and i hope still have, wilderness within him - You are deeply missed...
