The Snowmass Rodeo started as a couple of wooden bleachers held down by railroad ties, and its founders still participate in it to this day. It has withstood the test of time and remains on the very same grounds, surrounded by some of its original fencing. Through years of development and threats of being bought out, the rodeo still struggles to maintain its presence at the base of Snowmass Village.
