National Park Explorer
In this multi-user installation visitors gather in front of a geographical map showing the national park. They can select different „information-pucks“ to work with and by placing them on to a station, various information appear on the map. By turning the pucks users navigate within a given subject and/or play animations illustrating a certain story.
Samples of information the pucks reveal are: Wild reindeer, deer, moose, viewpoints, waterfalls, glaciers, valleys, hiking, glacier crossing, summer and winter activities, agriculture, summer cottages, unspoiled areas, local specialities, bear stories and place names.
