Jacob is on his death bed. His breathing is labored. He speaks in soft whispers. His strength has left him almost entirely. When Joseph, Jacob's son, hears that his father is ill, he comes to his side accompanied by his two sons, Manasseh and Ephraim. This will be there last conversation with their grandpa who they love and adore.
When Jacob sees his son and his grandson, he rallies every last bit of strength he has left and sits himself up, wraps his arms around his boys, hugs, them, kisses them, affirms them and blesses them. This is Jacobs last moment.
