Professional kangaroo shooters are a dying breed these days as more and more leave the industry due to low per kilo prices for meat.
But for Wayne French it's a hobby the he enjoys and gets paid for.
ABC Open producer Chris Lewis caught up with Wayne recently as he headed to Geraldton with a ute load of roos.
Wayne says he mainly shoots in the Murchison region and has been spending some time on Murgoo Station, which is about 300 kilometres north east of Geraldton.
