The official music video made for signed artist, Jack Savoretti (jacksavoretti.com), back in 2009. The brief was to create a video about conflict in our local neighbourhood (London). Knife crime was very prominent in the news at the time, so it seemed prevalent. The video was made with the cooperation of a local primary school and the local police as well. It was made for a budget of about £40 (about $60), a homemade steadicam (a bike pump, screw thread and a dumbbell weight) and shot over a single day. Sadly due to the budget, the video was shot using a standard definition camera, and doesn't stand the test of time in terms of resolution quality. Still, the story is what matters most, and that does hold up in my opinion. The song has since gone on to be used on TV series like Sons of Anarchy from FX.
The video was lucky enough to be recognised by industry professionals, and went on to win both 'Best Video' and 'Best Director' awards at the MTV Boom awards in London.
