Purpose: To increase arm motion compensating for muscle weakness by assisting with opposite arm.

1. Hold top end of stick with affected hand thumb up.
2 Lift arm at a diagonal away from hip as far as possible into (BUT NOT THROUGH) restriction.
3. Stop at point where symptoms increase and slowly return.
*Full motion occurs when bicep reaches ear.
*Use the unaffected arm only as much as necessary to complete motion without shrugging shoulder toward head.
