(http:holisticvoice.org) On any given night in America up to two million people are homeless. 80,000 people are homeless each night in Los Angeles. When I went to downtown Los Angeles at night, I was amazed at what I saw. Thousands of people were sleeping on the street, with only a sheet wrapped around them. I couldn't beleive that I was in America. It was the worst poverty I have ever seen in my life. Street after street lined with shopping carts, a few tents and just people who were poor and hungry. "The Jeffery Project" follows the story of one man's journey to get a homeless man off the street and reintegrated into society.

Directed by Allison Biggar, a documentary filmmaker who believes in using media to empower people to make a difference. For more videos please visit http:holisticvoice.org and click on "videos."
