Drew Berry (http://bit.ly/drew_berry), the Macarthur Fellow and Emmy award winning biomedical and molecular animator, shows how beautiful 3D animations can be used to communicate advanced biology concepts. Drew begins his talk by showing one of his most famous animations, "The Life Cycle of Malaria", and gives a live narration along with the video. He delves into the history of scientists communicating their ideas and understanding through visual representations, and astonishes the audience with his array of animated scientific videos.
