First time I ever went through this trail was last March 4/2012 with PaulDP & Sherwin Pacana. I was still using my older hardtail XC bike back then -- not exactly the ideal rig for a rather rough trail like this. Haven't been back here ever since that first time because there haven't been any group rides since then. (The 2013 Black Saturday ride with Sherwin & Vince Sta Elena & company doesn't count since we came from Bgy. Sinsin, ended up in Camp 7, then went downhill riding at night and came out in Tabunok/Talisay -- that's the reverse of this route, which goes up from Tabunok to Camp 7.)
Now, with only a week to go before the Enduro Pilipinas 4th leg event here in Cebu, the Cebu Trailblaizers group decided to organize an all-pedal ride up to Camp 7, and down the rest of Camp 7-Cuanos-Tubod-Linao, eventually coming out beside Belmont Subdivision. The highest point of the ride is 600 MASL -- and it's a serpentine ride going up. The rocky downhill is quite taxing -- even with full suspension. Doing this ride without any motor assist is truly a workout.
