Some time ago i read a beautiful book about Strange Attractors by
J.C. Sprott "Strange Attractors: Creating Patterns in Chaos"
I "stolen" the code from Michael Gogins CsoundAC system (module StrangeAttractors).

I randomly choose 4 of those in 3 or 4 dimension, and created a animation with 3000 iterations.
The third dimension is also mapped like a color ranging from green to blue.
The fourth dimension, when present, is mapped to red color.
The audio is a really simple Csound waveshaping instrument using chebyshevpoly opcode, then
mapping the dimensions to chebyshev coefficient.
Animation is made by 25 FPS with 1 iteration for 5 frames. This allowed me to slow down 5 times
the changing in audio and so in duration (now really long!).
Made with a Lua script using IUP GUI library and Csound audio engine.
