Note that since this video was made, there are some studies have shown that the "Roman Sandal" technique may be less secure. Instead of roman sandal, wrap the suture close to the skin multiple times or use a "figure of 8" or "alpha" technique at the base on the edges of the wound instead of the traditional "u" shape.
