Com­mon Sense Media – an inde­pen­dent non­profit that rates and reviews media for kids – asked us to help them cre­ate a song and music video that could teach 2nd to 5th graders about dig­i­tal cit­i­zen­ship – the idea that every­one needs to be kind, respon­si­ble and respect­ful online. That’s quite a mouth­ful already, and we had to make it sing-able?!

We worked with Com­mon Sense Media and com­poser Joel Pickard of Hat­farm on the con­cept and lyrics to the song and then cre­ated col­or­ful, iconic char­ac­ters who could act out and model the behav­iors that we wanted the kids watch­ing to emu­late and learn.
