The Tavistock Place cycle track is part of the main east-west cycle route through Camden from Islington to Westminster. The route is very popular and cycling has doubled since the tracks were built in 2002. It has become overcrowded at peak times, pedestrians find it confusing and it is dangerous for cyclists especially at some junctions. This video shows a variety of scenes shot in Tavistock Place in July and clearly illustrates the problems. The video makes a case for an upgrade suitable for current usage and ends with suggestions about what can be done.
