All the pets in the Shelter are this week’s Pets of the Week.
To spotlight the many wonderful shelter dogs that have been adopted, owners can come out this Friday, August 23rd and participate in the “Strut with your Mutt” Adopted Pet Show Contest. It will take place from 7-9 p.m. at the St. Cloud Civic Center. Any “mutt” adopted from any shelter may participate; there are many categories to choose from. For more information and to register, call 407 957-7243 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Then, on Saturday and SUNDAY, get ready to help give all the animals in the Shelter new homes by participating in the “Empty the Shelter Adoption Event” to be held on August 24th and 25th. This will be the final event for the ASPCA/Rachael Ray $100K Challenge, so spread the word and bring your family and friends out to help adopt out every animal in the Shelter to forever homes!
All the pets in the Osceola County Animal Shelter need forever homes right away. Please come in to the Shelter and visit with these wonderful animals. Please keep in mind, however, that the animals' stay at the Shelter is EXTREMELY limited, and they may or may not be available when you arrive. The Shelter is located at 3910 Old Canoe Creek Road in St. Cloud, or to find out what animals are available, check the adoptable pets on the Osceola County Animal Services website at osceola.org/go/pets.
