Attila and Levente Magyar are upcycling magicians. They create bags from cast off materials, such as PVC, canvas, tarpaulin, bicycle tyres, sails... you name it.
I asked whether I could film them making their bags. They agreed. More than that, they invited me to design a bag for myself. A gift. This video shows the making of "The Digital Storyteller Bag".
The bag itself won't stay with me for long. Soon after its completion, we decided to send it on a journey around the world: a relay involving friends and strangers. We wondered what adventures and stories the bag might have on the way, the route it would take, and whether it would even come back to us. We imagined a community of travellers and storytellers combining to tell the story of the bag's journey.
We're hoping that the bag will start its journey soon.
