"Hands out turned, a bounce in her stance and an offbeat 'flouncy' little skirt - a look that begged for a ring to go with it. That's the image I had in mind when I designed the 'Kimbra' ring" said Ian Douglas of The Inspired Collection. "Her style is fun, quirky and wonderfully kiwi, so I wanted to design a ring that personified that style".
The ring, beautifully hand crafted in sterling silver by Nick Hensman, is personally dedicated to double Grammy Award winning artist Kimbra. It's a larger than life piece that sits askew on the finger, but still makes sense. The band is a double koru form that wraps around the initial 'K', which then supports a large silver disc. The disc symbolising that wonderful edgy dress while the band is a link to Kimbra's strong kiwi roots. A one of a kind special piece, for a very individual kiwi.
