Anukūlaśśatāvartaḥ padmī padmanibhēkṣaṇaḥ
He is free from the six afflictions. He helps to cross the ocean of worldly life. He liberates from fear. He is valiant. He is Krishna. He is the Lord of all. He is favorable. He incarnates hundreds of times. He holds a lotus. He has eyes like lotuses.
38. Padmanābhōravindākṣaḥ padmagarbhaśśarīrabhr̥t
Mahardhirr̥ddhō vr̥ddhātmā mahākṣō garuḍa dhvajaḥ
He is seated in the navel of the Universe. He is lotus-eyed. He is meditated upon in the lotus of the heart. He nourishes the body. He is supremely splendid. He is expansive as the Universe. He is the most ancient Self. His divine senses are unattached to objects. His emblem is the eagle.
39. Atulaśśarabhō bhīmassamayajñō havir hariḥ
Sarva lakṣaṇa lakṣaṇyō lakṣmīvān samitinjayaḥ
He is incomparable. He shines as the inner Self. He is awe-inspiring. He is well-versed. He receives oblations. Research reveals Him as the One. He is the consort of prosperity. He is victorious in destroying the sorrows of the devotees.
40. Vikṣarō rōhitō mārgō hētur dāmōdarassahaḥ
Mahīdharō mahābhāgō vēgavānamitāśanaḥ
He is un-decaying. He is red-hued. He is the Path. He is the material and the cause of Creation. Only a self-restrained mind can grasp Him. He bears the Earth. He is most fortunate. He is swifter than the Wind. He has an immeasurable appetite.
41. Udbhavaḥ kṣōbhaṇō dēvaśśrīgarbhaḥ paramēśvaraḥ
Karaṇaṁ kāraṇaṁ kartā vikartā gahanō guhaḥ
He is the origin. He caused the agitation that caused Creation. He sports through Creation. Wealth resides in Him. He is the supreme Lord. He is the instrument. He is the cause. He is the independent doer. He identifies Himself in the bliss and misery of beings. He is un-knowable. His nature is concealed in illusion
42. Vyavasāyō vyavasthānassaṁsthānasthānadō dhruvaḥ
Parardhiḥ paramaspaṣṭastuṣṭaḥ puṣṭaśśubhēkṣaṇaḥ
He is determination and resolution. He regulates all processes. He is the abode of the elements. He confers status. He is imperishable. He is the supreme manifestation. He is totally evident. He is contented. He fills all. His glance bestows benefit.
43. Rāmō virāmō viratō mārgō nēyō nayōnayaḥ
Vīraśśaktimatāṁ śrēṣṭhō dharmō dharmaviduttamaḥ
He is eternally blissful. He is the goal. He is detached. He is the path to liberation. He directs devotees towards right knowledge. He is the leader. He is without a leader. He is valiant. He outshines all in power. He supports all beings. He is the best among the knowers of Dharma.
44. Vaikunṭhaḥ puruṣaḥ prāṇaḥ prāṇadaḥ praṇavaḥ pr̥thuḥ
Hiraṇyagarbhaśśatrughnō vyāptō vāyuradhōkṣajaḥ
He is the Savior. He effaces all sins. He is the vital Life-force. He gives and withdraws life-energy. He is praised by Omkara. He is all-pervasive. He is the golden egg that Brahma emanated from. He destroys the enemies of gods. He pervades all. He wafts fragrance everywhere. His power never diminishes.
45. R̥tussudarśanaḥ kālaḥ paramēṣṭhī parigrahaḥ
Ugrassaṁvatsarō dakṣō viśrāmō viśva dakṣiṇaḥ
He is the Season. Seeing Him grants Liberation. He is death personified to His enemies. He dwells in the heart. He receives the offerings of devotees. He is a formidable source of Fear. He is the abode of all. He is efficient. He brings tranquility. He is the most skillful protector.
46. Vistārasthāvarasthāṇuḥ pramāṇaṁ bījamavyayaṁ
Arthōnarthō mahākōśō mahābhōgō mahādhanaḥ
He is the expanse. He is firm and motionless. He is the authority. He is the immutable seed. He is desired by all. He is endless. He is covered by the great sheaths. He enjoys great bliss. He gives the great wealth of happiness.
47. Anirviṇṇaḥ sthaviṣṭhōbhūr dharmayūpō mahā makhaḥ
Nakṣatranēmir nakṣatrī kṣamaḥ kṣāmassamīhanaḥ
He is never depressed. He is the cosmic being. He is without birth. He is the binding post for Dharma. Sacrifices are offered to Him. He grants Liberation. He resides in the heart of the wheel. He is the lord of the stars. He is competent. He is the state of pure Self. He wishes all beings well.
48. Yajña ijyō mahējyaśca kratussatraṁ satāṁ gatiḥ
Sarvadarśī nivr̥ttātmā sarvajñō jñānamuttamaṁ
Vedic sacrificial rituals are His form. He is the object of worship in sacrifices. He is the sacrifice. He is the refuge. He is all-seeing. He is the free Self. He is the knower of all. He is supreme knowledge.
