Sedition' is a short animation that I have worked on throughout the MSc Animation & Visualization course. My programme of study has been to develop lifelike character animation and as a result, my team roles included character animator and co-director. The character development process, such as modelling, rigging, UV mapping and texturing the main character and drone, was a big challenge. My main objective throughout this project was to create believable and life like character and camera movement. Consequently, I studied the anatomy and movement of the human body through multiple film references and other material. My prior experience was traditional 2D animation and as a result, creating 3D character animation was a big challenge. Despite this, my traditional animation techniques and experience ultimately made my 3D character animation stronger.
