In July 2013 I solo hiked the most famous part of the GR5 long distance walking route, The Grand Traverse of the Alps, from Lake Geneva to Nice, roughly 600km over the beautiful French Alps. There was quite a lot of snow this season but in general I had great weather, great walking and lot of wildlife, especially early in the mornings when there was no one else but me in the mountains. When I finally saw the Mediterranean on the 24th day of the hike, it was such a great moment and feeling of victory and joy. Here's a short non-commercial holiday video about the amazing adventure I experienced. Later on the full story and photos will be in my blog: longdistancetrail.wordpress.com/
The video is shot with Sony Cybershot DSC RX100 pocket camera.
Hope you guys like it!
