In May 2013, Joint Task Force Alaska (JTF-AK) Commander Lt Gen Hoog and University of Alaska President Gamble signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on Arctic Information Sharing between the two organizations. The goal of this MOU was to maximize information exchange between the Arctic experts in the UA system and JTF-AK. Subsequent to the MOU signing, JTF-AK and the University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF) established an Action Plan, which more specifically defines near and long-term milestones for the relationship.
This presentation and interactive discussion with the audience were co-led by:

• Chancellor Brian Rogers, University of Alaska Fairbanks
• Captain Joel Jungemann, Director, Plans, Policy, and Resources, Joint Task Force Alaska
