An almost blinding amount of blue light is pouring out of this confined hexagonal space. Five heartbeat-detectors are fixed on a pedestal in the center of it. After you’ve put your finger in a detector, red light will start to show up in the wall right behind you, pulsating at your very own heartbeat and replacing the blue light wherever it appears. The heartbeats of five visitors can be monitored at the same time: the height of their pulses increases until it reaches the ceiling, after which this will start to glow red as well, resulting in a mingling of all five people’s pulses.
