Opening sequence director cut for Canal+ (France): Marie-Antoinette series, a biopic featuring the tumultuous life of the young queen of France. Her determination, her thirst for freedom, her quest for elegance, her memorable parties, her fashion influence, her refusal to submission, but also her sad fate. Marie-Antoinette is an international co-production: France, Belgium signed by the talented British writer and show runner Deborah Davis (author of The Favorite). The labyrinthine visual signature is an evocation of the meanders of French politics at the time, the dead end paths that the queen will take during her very short reign.
