Not a video I'm proud of. Just past half way you see me screwing up a tight high alpha curve.
The plane dug in, and immediatly afterwards you see me taking off.
No way I would have done that if I had an air scoop on the Polaris.
these minor accident's are the reason I'll advice anyone to waterproof the fuselage on the polaris, and take care of the heating problem by installing an ESC of twice the current youre using. make sure it has a switching bec. You can circulate cooling air in the fuselage by installing a small fan.
If youre waterproofing the fuselage, make sure it has a vent hole! As 100 m hight make for 1% difference in air pressure, and that's a lot of force on the fuselage!
At the end of the video is a demonstration of the brake. well OK, it's a reverse. Made possible by installing a car esc. and: it comes with a fan ;-)
