in 2011 we managed a synthesizer day inside Rough Trade East where I invited the inventors from around London to show off their products. We brought a lot of stuff ourselves over from Berlin and I asked Wolfgang Seidel to play a gig on stage there. Wolfgang Seidel was drummer of the prominent german Band Ton Steine Scherben once and apart from that a very good friend with Conrad Schnitzler who unfortunately died just a few years ago. On the Synthesizer day at RTE he performed one of the "Kassette Konzert(s)" by Conrad Schnitzler where several Tape recordings has been started simultaeoully.
Apart from that we brought the very first remake of a "volkstrautonium" realized by a new company called Trautoniks, presented the VXXY DCM8 drummachine designed in Hackney Wick and explained a lot of the popular eurorack modules in our testsalon. Ken Macbeth unfortunately could not come over for that day but I think we brought his very first Micromac synth, too.
