Combatants is the first miniseries about the Malvinas/Falklands War and is unique in its kind, with unprecedented production in Argentine television.
In 1982, in the last battles of the Malvinas/Falklands War, Gustavo Rivero, is shot in the head. The gunshot erases his worst memories. Five years later, he decides to find his fellow soldiers to bring back that painful recollection. However, as he finds them, he is once again haunted by ghosts of the war he never abandoned.
Inspired by war veterans’ testimonies, Combatants weave together three time lines. With each episode new information about the characters’ lives unfolds: who they were before the war, what happened to them on the Malvinas/Falkland Islands and what happened to them after the war.
