Filmed 08-08-2022. This is a short series of demos showing different experiments with methods for controlling the vibrato system of my theremin patch. The first three of these experiments involve controlling what I refer to as 'vibrato intensity' which is a parameter that is mapped to both the depth and rate of the vibrato. For version 1 and 2 where I map the velocity of the right hand to the intensity, I sample the velocity of the hand over a 500ms period, and then use the maximum sampled value as the control value - this had a desired effect of getting a single number value that effectively described the 'intensity of shaking' of the hand.
