Here are some shots I took in Yosemite earlier this summer. They've been sitting in a mostly finished timeline for awhile now. I decided it was finally time to finish the edit after noticing that my local grocery store is already selling Halloween candy. Summer really is almost over. We had a great experience in Yosemite and I think this footage captures a bit of what makes summer so special.
This was all shot before the wildfire that has caused so much damage near Yosemite. While the park has remained open, I can only imagine that the tone has changed.
This was shot entirely on my Blackmagic Cinema Camera. I used the Sigma 8-16mm and Canon 70-200mm. For most of the time I used a monopod to remain light and mobile.
If you liked the song then check out the full version on their album. It's 7 minutes long and every second is great!
