State Senator Ken Paxton is running for Attorney General for the State of Texas. According to Sen. Paxton, only 5% of registered voters actually take part in the primary elections, which determine who will run for any office of their party. He encourages you to vote in the primary and general election, and he would like your vote.
Paxton was a practicing attorney in McKinney before being elected to the State Senate from District 8. His launch into politics was inspired by his own Congressman who was rude to him.

Senator Paxton fights for the rights of the people of Texas, and wants to make a difference. He is even willing to take on his own party, if that what is necessary, in order to promote individual liberties. His main focus in the Senate has been on taxes, lowering property taxes and business taxes to entice more people to move their homes and business to Texas - which in turn means more industry and more jobs.
