For people with Celiac disease, the gluten-free diet is not a choice; it's a medical necessity. Unfortunately, the diet is also vastly more expensive then regular food. Low-income Celiacs often find themselves incapable of purchasing the foods that they need.
Pierce's Pantry, a gluten-free food bank in Massachusetts, works with local food pantries to support Celiacs who are struggling to comply with the gluten-free diet. Watch this video to learn more about the urgent need for a gluten-free food bank in our community.
On Tuesday, September 17th, 5% of sales at the Whole Foods in Wayland Center will go to support Pierce's Pantry. Help support Pierce's Pantry by shopping at the Whole Foods on this day.
