You can find the thread from the forum with the questions for this webinar here:
00:00:00 Welcoming Remarks
00:00:40 Bryan demonstrates how to create a star “spinner”. Bryan demonstrated different methods of accomplishing this. He also provided tips on how to search the MTC Gallery for similar designs created by other MTC users.
00:27:25 Bryan demonstrates how to trace an image for cutting in vinyl. He demonstrates using the image provided in question thread. In this instance, image provided was a poor image and Bryan shows how to try to work with a poor image using different techniques in MTC. He also demonstrated how to change the style of font in the image, how to create a curved line that matched the font curve and wrap the font to that line. As in the previous demonstration, Bryan reiterated that there are many ways to accomplish the same results in MTC.
01:27:00 User wanted to know how to create a random rhinestone pattern in MTC that was not as labor intensive as the method she shares in the thread. Bryan says right now there is no way to create a random rhinestone pattern using MTC alone. He then shows how to use the free program, Inkscape, to create a random rhinestone pattern in layers and bring it over into MTC for cutting (also see -1:49:50 timestamp for further discussion). It can be downloaded from inkscape.org. He demonstrated how to use the “Align & Distribute” function in Inkscape to create the randomized rhinestone layout.
01:44:50 User wanted to know if there was a “step by step” MTC tutorial. Bryan reviews several places to find help and information including:
groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/MTC_Tuts/info - a free group you have to join. It has lots of tutorials for all levels from beginners to intermediate and then advanced.
The MTC User manual – It can be accessed through the MTC Help » Instruction and Tutorials or here: iloveknk.com/support/user-manuals/zing-user-manuals/
The first 3 chapters deal specifically with the Zing, the remaining chapters are all MTC (note: there is an interactive format, a downloadable interactive version or a PDF version found here. These are the most up to date manuals.

01:49:50 Bryan returns to Inkscape Random Tool discussion to show how to access that tool in Inkscape
01:51:40 User wanted to know about placement of a design on mat for cutting. Discussion notes default cutting in MTC is Landscape Mode. Arrow on virtual mat on screen indicates which way mat is to be fed into the machine. Further discussion and options on different ways to help user know how it will feed into mat occurs.
