Delina Pryce McPhaull has always been passionate about how media influences our worldview. When, as an adult, she decided she wanted to foster a biblical worldview, the Holy Spirit impressed her to silence her daily dose of Oprah and The Young and the Restless. As she asked God to renew her mind, she also found that much of what she’d been taught in the religion of origin didn’t jive with the Bible either. She freely shares her journey out of the SDA church and towards embracing the simple Gospel of Jesus Christ. This digital story (and future ones) are the result of of her research into how media (mainly stories, images and songs) is used to indoctrinate young children with an Adventist worldview at the expense of a biblical worldview.
