National Lottery Players were one of the biggest funders of London 2012. Helping to build the Olympic Park, supporting British athletes, allowing young people to be part of the Cultural Olympiad and funding community sports clubs! No one has contributed more!

To capture the true legacy of London 2012 we have created a series of short films that look at the lasting impact of what was achieved last summer and how it is still helping individuals and communities across the UK.

This is Dai and Sue's story. Both Dai and Sue (husband and wife) were elite sportspeople. Both competed for Wales and Britain in wheelchair field events. Sue in shot put and javelin and David in shot put.

In the run up to the Olympic and Paralympic games, they caught the sport bug again and were inspired come back to competitive wheelchair sport. They met a local wheelchair basketball coach called Lee who persuaded them to help him start a local wheelchair basketball team- West Wales Warriors.
