This project was originally designed as a three screen installation with surround sound playback. This version is re-formatted for a 2:39:1 Cinema Scope Aspect Ratio.
The narrative of the film is an exploration of how one tidal cycle effects the creatures of the rocky shores. The project aims to move away from the traditional fully directed viewer experience, instead exploring the shifts in attention and imagination that might be experienced when moving through the natural coastal environment. The work aims to offer an alternative, more immersive approach to storytelling about the natural world.
It was made in collaboration with The London Aquarium and The National Trust.
