Judge Murphy passed away on Sunday, 9/15/13. Judge embodied that "Honest Fire" that inspired songwriter Robert Hunter to pen tunes for Zero. This clip is from a two-night run at Great American Music Hall in San Francisco which became a benefit for Judge shortly after the seriousness of his illness became clear. His unforgettable voice and stage presence continue to be dearly missed by the musicians and fans that were lucky enough to be assembled in the same hall when Judge took the stage.
