Golden Sq, Disqo and M-A-D-E collaborate & create paper sculptures for Yakult 365 Days
VFX specialists Golden Square and production company Disqo have joined forces on an ad for the probiotic dairy product Yakult, with Olly Ravaux and Mark Andrews at the UK ad agency M.A.D.E.
The spot, called ‘365 Days’ is aimed at a younger audience and the objective is to promote drinking Yakult as part of a daily, healthy routine, with the endline “Every day is a Yakult day.”
The original script for the ad featured different objects interacting with a Yakult bottle. Disqo director Bernie Roux moved this on, and envisaged it involving items made from intricate paper sculptures. This idea was brought to life by Golden Square CG artists Mike Little and Adam Lindsey – who painstakingly created the photo-real sculptures of a hot air balloon, a train and roses, in Maya.
