He can now stay in power until 2019 – but how will ‘el comandante’ manage to deal with the gaping discrepancies in society and offer the youth a future in which they choose not to turn to violence, drugs and weapons? Focus on Caracas.
Born in Caracas in 1981, Castillo broke off his studies in psychology and travelled through Europe. There he took his first pictures and attended his first photography courses. The reportage is taken with a Leica M9.
